Bug Description

I opened this pdf page https://www.asee.org/papers-and-publications/publications/college-profiles/2015-graduate-engineering-degrees.pdf

and for example try to find by typing "computer engineering", it shows 2 or 4 matches where there are around 25 or more instances of this phrase.

Definitely a bug in the pdf viewer. Tried to reproduce myself.

Even if you don't want to scan the whole pdf for performance constraints you shouldn't display wrong match count. Count all if it won't crash the browser.

Saurabh Misra,

We are sorry that we do not always have the capacity to review all reported bugs in a timely manner. You reported this bug some time ago and there have been many changes in Ubuntu and Firefox since that time.

Do you still see a problem related to the one that you reported? Please let us know if you do as I cannot reproduce the issue with Ubuntu 18.04, Firefox 61 and other PDFs. If this is still an issue then the bug should be reported upstream to https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/.

If we do not hear from you this bug report will expire in approximately 60 days time.

Thank you for helping make Ubuntu better.
