After wake from hibernate, desktop background is pixilated

it is visually very annoying,although he system works fine.

ON WAKE FRM hibernation, the desktop background is unrecognizable - well on my desktop,you can see he outline of some buildings but there are hundred of 3 pixel wavy lines across the entire screen, and most color is lost - basically looks terrible.

Re-selecting a desktop background fixes it.
