Bug Description

After running cut the rope on Frieza and Krillin(both on rc-proposed)during testing I've noticed that is not very smooth on Frieza, whereas it works great on Krillin(much more fluid)

Enviroment:

current build number: 172
device name: frieza
channel: ubuntu-touch/rc-proposed/bq-aquaris-pd.en
last update: 2016-08-19 08:22:18
version version: 172
version ubuntu: 20160819
version device: 20160809.0
version custom: 20160805--42-20-vivid

Product: BQ M10 FHD

Steps to reproduce:

1º Run Cot the rope in both devices an compare its functioning

Current result: Cut the rope is working slow on Frieza

Expected result: Cut the rope should work smooth on frieza

Add info:

summary: - cut the rope lags on Frieza
+ cut the rope lags with Frieza on rc-proposed

This happens on arale too, but does not happen on krillin.

Arale rc-proposed 405 has a low frame rate, while arale 370 runs pretty smoothly. Between the two, I'm not yet sure where it started having issues.

proposed and stable have the same version of oxide (1.15.7) as a new version just landed today and is not in 405. Can you test stable for comparison? If they are different then oxide is not to blame.

Not tested on frieza yet, but I was validating oxide 1.16.8 on arale yesterday and I found CTR to be quite slow too, so I downgraded to oxide 1.15.7 and found it equally slow. Today I flashed my arale with OTA-11 which has oxide 1.14.8, and CTR appears to be smoother.
This doesn’t mean it’s an oxide regression though, it could be anything else in the stack slowing it down. This requires further investigation.
