There's also various little flashes in some applications including Google Chrome, this didn't happen on the vivid hardware enablement stack, I'm using a 4th gen i3 cpu and it's integrated graphics
running Ubuntu 14.04.5 LTS

I also have similar problem after this update. Firefox constantly crashing, the only way is to disable hardware video acceleration. Chrome is not displaying anything until it's window is minimized and maximized again. Of course when I disable hardware acceleration it's working fine again. I don't play games, but I can provide any additional informations if you tell me how to do that.
