I noticed in the question ticket you apparently are not running as administrator because of this line

 win32com.shell.shell.IsUserAnAdmin() = False

When you start BleachBit normally Windows asks you whether you want to grant administrator rights to BleachBit. Would you please answer YES, and then let me know whether this error still helps?

Can't replicate on my Windows 10. Tried with admin rights and non-admin rights.

1 fault could be that temp should actually be Temp (with capital T) if BleachBit is case-sensitive. Another fault could be that he isn't running admin rights, but I have only seen warnings that usually say something like "Cannot access file directory" or "Access denied".

ROCKNROLLKID, thank you for checking. It should not be case sensitive. Yes, it does not seem to be admin rights.

patrick: Do you know which program made this file c:\WINDOWS\temp\tmp000018e6? Are you able to see it normally using Windows Explorer? Can you delete it with Windows Explorer?
