Bug Description
Basically, I've built a machine (i5 architecture on MSI board with integrated video chip) using Linux Debian (latest version) as the OS. I am running the MIXXX older version 1.0 (or a derivative thereof) since the 2.0 was not available in the repository yet. The controller I've been using is the Numark Mixtrack (non-pro version), again an older legacy product. I'm not skilled enough yet to know how to generate the information logs referenced in your guidelines.
When I edit the ID3 tag information in the song list, I can only alter about a dozen fields or so when the Mixxx app simply closes on its own. All of my changed information is typically saved except for the last four or five field entries.
I've read in the different blogs that the Mixxx Windows Version has a sensitivity to the various types of dll files out there. I'm wondering if the Linux-compatible version has a similar dependency. I'm considering just pushing a re-install process to over-write anything that may be causing the problem. I'd like to see the crash problem mitigated, but I just don't want to undo all of my tag edits in the mean time.
Thoughts?

What Mixxx version are you running? (Look at the top line of ~/.mixxx/mixxx.log)
Our general recommendation is to use the latest release version. It's actually really easy to build on Linux (Debian-based distros especially.)
