Bug Description

Tested the 4.8 rc1 kernel from the unstable ppa on yakkety 64 bits, and get some issues (not fatal)

 NMI watchdog: enabled on all CPUs, permanently consumes one hw-PMU counter.

Now using the latest 4.8.0-1.2 from the unstable ppa

The reported issue is no more logged into journalctl. I cant say if its a rc2 fix or a packaging solution; but now it seems clean.
