oslo.message@trusty does declare an entry point for 'rabbit' as a driver key:
oslo.messaging. drivers = _drivers. impl_rabbit: RabbitDriver _drivers. impl_qpid: QpidDriver _drivers. impl_zmq: ZmqDriver _drivers. impl_rabbit: RabbitDriver _drivers. impl_fake: FakeDriver
rabbit = oslo.messaging.
qpid = oslo.messaging.
zmq = oslo.messaging.
# To avoid confusion
kombu = oslo.messaging.
# This is just for internal testing
fake = oslo.messaging.
So I'm a bit puzzled as to why this is happening.
Any chance you have a pip installed version of oslo.messaging installed? that might cause this type of error.
Marking incomplete/low for now - please take a look and see if this is the case or not.
