the software updater panel that informs the user that the update procedure has completed (see attached) does not show when cycling through running processes with <Alt><Tab>

This happens every time update-manager is started automatically (updates available, updates installed, need to reboot, etc.).

The Unity launcher displays an ">" indicator for update-manager, instead of a filled triangle, wrongly thinking it's in another workspace.
