Binary package hint: pidgin

When I start pidgin, I always get the "authorize buddy" messages. I can't stop it.
Even though I accept, next time I start pidgin, it happens again.

I'm having the same issue with Ubuntu Pidgin. I have two Hotmail users that I keep clicking deny on but the Authorize buddy? prompt keeps showing up for them each time I start Pidgin.

for you? Can you try with latest Ubuntu release? Thanks in advance.

I am also experiencing this. It seems specific to MSN and been identified as an upstream issue:
