Should pbuilder-dist be in a different package?

Binary package hint: ubuntu-dev-tools

It seems to me that pbuilder-dist is useful beyond Ubuntu.

I think that it should be pushed up to pbuilder itself, or if not then
devscripts.

Hi James,

there is a pbuilder-dist example in the pbuilder package.

Our pbuilder-dist is just an improved version of it.
My rational is, not to touch those example files, and not to include our pbuilder-dist into the pbuilder, just because there are many people who are not using "our" way, but using different ways (just in case, I'm one of those who are using a different approach ;))

Until it's somewhere else, I don't see this as a bug in ubuntu-dev-tools. I'd suggest filing a bug in the package you think it should be added to.
