Bug Description
Binary package hint: firefox
Steps leading to crash:
1. Open FF.
2. Navigate to site featuring a link to download / play an .mp3 file.
3. Click link, totem commences play of file.
4. Click the back arrow on toolbar -> FF disappears / Problem report dialog appears.
This happens frequently. The reason I back-nav I that I meant to use save-as in the context menu and wish to return to the web page so as to save the file. Now, it has happened at various states of the system, i.e. been up and running for days or as just now - first action after a cold start. By my "system notebook" this is the 4th occurance after a cold start.
Also, after recovery, FF will present with totem playing the mp3.
System specs: Dell Inspiron 8600 laptop / 2 GB RAM / 120GB HD / Nvidia GeForce FX Go5200. Dual boot w/ XP. XP seldom used :)
Hi,
please submit the crash report by (double) clicking on it (e.g. using gnome file manager). Otherwise, we won't be able to process it efficiently. The .crash files can be found in the /var/crash directory.
Thanks,
- Alexander
