Bug Description

Binary package hint: openoffice.org

version Openoffice.org 2.3.0 (openoffice.org-core 1:2.3.0-1ubuntu5.1), OS Ubuntu 7.10 64 bits
In any cell place following operation "=120,3-87,2-26" and hit F9, you'll see 7,1 in cell but 7,09999999999999 in input line.
Same behaviour with MS Office Excel 2003 (11.8169.8172) SP3.

If you change cell format and increase decimal places to 14 or more, then you'll see 7,09999999999999 in cell.

This happens on i386 as well. I am pretty sure this is 'not a bug' but rather due to how math is done on computers in general, especially after you commenting that MS Excel does the exact same thing. There is generally no concept of regular real numbers on computers, it can be worked around for financial applications but generally isn't needed.

Thanks,
