Bug Description

there is no easy way how to get a native Nvidia support on Lenovo W550s Laptop with Quadro K620M. Once I install nvidia-367 package from ppa:graphics-drivers/ppa I get black screen after reboot. Driver manager doesn't detect the nvidia card and thgus doesn't allow me to install proprietary driver.

Ha! Here I was thinking I had gone mad when I could not get the Nvidia driver to work on my W550s either.

This procedure works to get Nvidia native support work on Lenovo Thinkpad W550s:

I have external monitor connected over DVI. Once I try to change the resolution of laptop's monitor while running on Nvidia the system completely freezes. Anyway this is another issue.
