Bug Description

I boot from the gutsy Live CD select the first install option and the splash screen displays for about 2 minutes before crashing to the busybox shell. I get this as output:

BusyBox v1.1.3 (Debian 1:1.1.3-5ubuntu7) Built in shell (ash)
Enter 'help' for a list of built in commands.

(initramfs) [37.160000] ata5.00: failed to set xfermode (err_mask=0x40)

I checked for several workarounds on the forums but was unable to find anything. I did find however that if I went back to version 6.10 I was able to install successfully.
