Bug Description

Since ota-12 I have no cellular data anymore. The phone (Meizu mx-4) shows an empty wifi indicator and in system settings/mobile the cellular data and Data roaming toggle switches ar disabled. For the connection type I can still select 2/3/4G but no difference. In APN settings I have both <provider> internet and MMS ticked.

I have the same problem after updating to OTA-12, except for me the cellular data is always ON, despite the switches on both the indicator panel and the settings page are disabled.
(I had to ifconfig down the interface to prevent the phone from using all my data provided by my telco subscription for the current month.)

Same problem over here: since ota-12 the 'cellular data' switch is turned off and there's no way to turn it on.

Thanks for reporting this bug. Is there anything in the System Settings log, or maybe the indicator-network log (System Settings talks to indicator-network here).

Pertinent logs:
.cache/upstart/indicator-network.log
.cache/upstart/application-legacy-ubuntu-system-settings-.log

I checked the current logs:

As far as I understand there's nothing related to the problem there, so I restarted the phone, and checked again:

Not much changed in the indicator log, but these lines from the settings log might be related:
