Name field doesn't allow alphabetic characters

Bug Description
In the node registration dialog, you can only type digits in the name field of the node. It should allow also the alphabetic characters [A-Za-z] to make the names meaningful.

I just noticed that it allows capital letters. Marking the bug invalid...
