Hi

    In Ubuntu16.10 ppc64-diag package not installed by default , need to install using apt-get .

Reproducible Step:

1- Installed Ubuntu16.10 in power system
2- check for rtas and opal_errd daemon
3-need to install ppc64-diag as it is missing

Log:

root@ubuntu::~# apt-get install ppc64-diag
Reading package lists... Done
Building dependency tree
Reading state information... Done

This is same as #1358505 ... We have addressed all security concerned raised by Seth (see https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/ppc64-diag/+bug/1417608 )

Let us know if anything else needs to be done from our side.

Yes, these are all the same bug. Marking this as a duplicate of bug #1417608, as I understand we're currently waiting for confirmation from the security team that the new versions are adequate before promoting to main.
