Bug Description

When switching users, with "User Switcher" on panel, it makes the screen go white (i can still see the pointer though). Although the screen is white, i can still type in the passwords and log on to the other account normally (that is, the screen isnt white any more).

Also when logging out from a user it turns you to that white screen so you have to guess if is asking you user name and password or only the password.

I also tested then that "Switch user" (with the log out button), and it works fine.

There are 3 user accounts on the computer, and it doesn't seem to matter how many are logged in.
This is a fresh install, just installed it yesterday.

This behavior also occurs when the pc is left on and the screensaver kicks in. Attempting to switch users using the fast-user-switch-applet results in a white screen. Pressing Alt+S will reload gdm, however this is probably not the desired solution. A group of users have seen this same issue as seen here:

I am using the nvidia-restricted drivers with compiz-fusion on Gutsy.
