chromium-browser not being found by Applications menu, despite being in /usr/share/applications

Bug Description

I have the following browsers installed in kubuntu:
a) google-chrome
b) chromium-browser
c) firefox

#a and #c are found by the applications launcher when I type in their names. #b is not. All three have .desktop entries in /usr/share/applications.
