Bug Description
Binary package hint: kmail
Using Kubuntu Gutsy, stable release.
After launching Kmail, an authorization dialog pops up even if in preferences the checkbox for periodic mail check was deselected (if previously selected).
Then, if one tries to cancel the dialog (either by pressing 'Esc' or by clicking the cancel button), it is shown again immediately and so on in endless loop, unless the right password is provided (if the password is wrong, the dialog is displayed again).
Steps to reproduce:
1) In Kmail preferences, modify an existing account by enabling periodic mail check
2) Exit Kmail
3) Relaunch Kmail and go back to the same account's preferences
4) Deselect the checkbox for periodic mail check and click 'Ok' twice
5) Wait for the previously set time out for mail check
