Fluxbuntu RC: Usplash Causing Long Boot Times

Bug Description

Despite having installed Fluxbuntu on a modern machine, my boot time takes a unusually long time to boot. I've attached a bootchart to this message.

I just removed the quiet and splash options from the boot arguments, and here is the resulting bootchart.
