Bug Description
Binary package hint: texlive-xetex
texlive-xetex version 2007-12ubuntu3 omits dependency on dvipdfmx. This leads to all sorts of errors if the dvipdfmx package is not installed independently.
The workaround is to install dvipdfmx.
Another is to backport texlive-xetex version 2007-14ubuntu1 from the Hardy source archive. The resulting .deb does have this dependency and will install dvipdfmx automatically.
It would be good to have a patch for texlive-xetex version 2007-12ubuntu3 because it is the default package for Gutsy.
