mwm package should have dependancy upon xterm package

I'm running Linux Mint 18.0 'Sarah', Cinammon 64 bit.

I installed the mwm package with:

sudo apt-get install -y mwm

... and logged in to mwm.

Right-clicking on the desktop and choosing 'New window' had no effect. I expected a new terminal window to open.

The problem is caused by mwm expecting xterm to be installed. Installing xterm manually fixed the 'New window' option.

Looking at the dependencies of mwm:

$ apt-cache depends mwm

... I can see that xterm is not listed.
