Bug Description

current build number: 371
device name: krillin
channel: ubuntu-touch/rc-proposed/bq-aquaris.en

Test Case:
1. Take several screenshots with vol up + vol down
2. Repeat step 1 a dozen of times or until it stops

Expected Result:
User can take as many screenshots until it fills the disk

Actual Result:
unity8 hangs.

When this happens, unity8.log says:

[2016-44-29:16:44:10.737] Failed to check if source is video: org.freedesktop.DBus.Error.NoReply: Did not receive a reply. Possible causes include: the remote application did not send a reply, the message bus security policy blocked the reply, the reply timeout expired, or the network connection was broken.

Part of the issue is that qtubuntu-media is using blocking dbus calls, it should avoid that however possible.

Is this still an issue after the last OTA release? OTA 12 included a big media-hub deadlock fix.

bobharvey: if you wouldn't mind giving it another try I think you'll find the experience has been greatly improving with OTA-11 and OTA-12.

Ok, unboxed tablet, upgraded to OTA12, tried again

I have made around 30 screenshots without problems.

Nowt else seems radically different so it will go back in the box later today.
