Bug Description

After several hours making some tests on my computer with a kopete developer to correct a bug, he finally sent me a patch which corrected a total crash of kopete (and also the webcam flickering) in configuration > device.

I would like it to be updated on the ubuntu repository (as well as the very annoying msn bug, which make kopete crash if you don't install a .deb manually).

He told me just to post the link of the problem on launchpad, so the kde bug is here:

Thank you for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make Ubuntu better. This bug did not have a package associated with it, which is important for ensuring that it gets looked at by the proper developers. You can learn more about finding the right package at https://wiki.ubuntu.com/Bugs/FindRightPackage. I have classified this bug as a bug in kopete

Maybe I didn't understand you...
