No Connection

Bug Description

I have installed both the most recent Daemon (0.9.9) and VPN (1.0.9). The icon appears in my tray panel and I didn't receive any fatal errors that prevented installation following the directions in the linked Help wiki. All of the required libraries are installed as well.

However, the problem remains the same: I have added two server addresses but the client does not record any logs for attempting the connection(s). I am asked for my password and that is it.

I should also note that my particular VPN requires both username and password, but the L2TP IPsec VPN client does not offer an obvious field or prompt for this information.

Do you have any advice?

Or is the client simply outdated given that I'm now using Lubuntu 16.04 (based off of Ubuntu 16.04)?
