No easy way to access favourites with a mouse

Steps to reproduce:

- Connect a mouse/touchpad to your Ubuntu Touch device.
- Open Timer.
- Try to access Favourites clicking on the bottom arrow.

Expected: open favourites
Happens: nothing.

I think it's because of the bug in BottomEdge component. From what I see, it should be fixed in next OTA. https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/ubuntu-ui-toolkit/+bug/1536669

I'm on rc-proposed on phone and it isn't fixed. I don't know if next releases before OTA-12 will fix it.

The bug you mentioned indicates that you can fix it manually. The way it is now makes it impossible to use Favourites when using an external screen with a keyboard+mouse.

I believe you can use it with a keyboard. Use 'Tab' button few times until the bottom edge arrow gets focus, then press 'Enter' or 'Space'. It's not convenient I know, but I'm not able to work on the Timer at the moment. If OTA-12 will not fix it, I'll try to do it in the Timer code.

OK, it does work that way. I didn't want you to fix it right know, only to file the bug but in case you didn't know it.

Thanks for the bug :) I have no mouse I can check how it works in real life. Anyway I plan do make some more improvements regarding keyboard and mouse working with Timer. But that's for the future :)

Looks like the system bug won't be fixed in OTA-12. I'll try to find some time and add workaround mentioned there to the Timer app.

I've decided I'm going to give up on the BottomEdge in the next update. It does not add much of a benefit in use and it's to complicated to make it work as good as I wish with Adaptive Page Layout, witch I'm planning to use.
