Bug Description

I had an Compaq AP550 with Edgy installed and with rtl8185 working with ndiswrapper.
I choose to upgrade to 7.10 Gusty, when the system restart the rtl8185 driver was still installed but the card seems not installed any more.
I downloaded the CD 7.10 to reinstall everything, nothing to do, the re-installation hang in every method.
I removed the rtl8185 from the pci slot and the installation goes perfectly.
After some main configurations I reinstalled the rtl8185 but the machine does not boot any more.
Removing again the rtl8185 the machine boot but I found the Ethernet card removed from the system.
lspci I do not find the Ethernet card any more.
