Bug Description

Affected discs so far
Sting:10 Summoners tales
Indigo Girls: nomads - induans - saints
Alligator Stomp (Rhino recors zydeco compilation)
Arlo Guthrie Alice's Restaurant
Jethro Tull: Songs from the Wood

Lots of other discs have been ripping successfully, including some from tiny independent sources.

In the ones that fail, sound juicer closes at about the time when it seems ready to transition from the first track to the second one.

AdditionalInformation:
I am ripping to Ogg Vorbis format
Sometimes, but not always, the GUI grays out briefly before extracting a disc that will fail. (Some discs seem to fail even with out the grayout behavior)
Discs with first tracks longer than 5 minutes or shorter than 30 seconds seem most likely to have problems.
I have been able to get past the problem in a few cases by
a. playing the disc, pausing after the start of the second track and starting the extraction
or
b. de-selecting the first track, ripping the others, then ripping the first track in a separate pass with everything else deselected.

I have not tried either of these with a disc that is all long tracks. When the crashes happen at the end of the first track, nothing gets written to the hard drive.

I have not yet tried the workarounds on the 5 discs I originally mentioned -- they got moved to the end of the queue.

Whenever a program crashes, you should get a pop up offering to automatically file a bug report and attach the logs that we would need to see what went wrong. Please do this so we can see what happened.
