pgmodeler_0.8.1 not able to connect to PostgreSQL (v9.5)

Bug Description

We are running Xubuntu 16.04 LTS which comes with PostgreSQL v9.5 and pgmodeler v0.8.1.
The preinstalled version of pgmodeler is not cappable of connecting to a PostgreSQL v9.5 database. If we try to connect to the database, an update to pgmodeler version 0.8.2-beta1 is requested.

I would like to request a version update to pgmodeler v0.8.2.

We are affected by this incompatibility, too, and would appreciate an upgrade to a version of pgmodeler compatible with postgresql-9.5
