Automatically synchronized translations update po files with only metadata changes

I use automatic translation synchronization in my projects. Occasionally Launchpad will commit .po changes that have no changes except for the X-Launchpad-Export-Date and X-Generator fields. I would expect Launchpad to do nothing until a translatable string has changed. This causes noise in the commit log and gets me checking if I need to make a release when nothing has actually changed.
