wingpanel crashed with SIGSEGV in g_type_check_instance_is_fundamentally_a(), when trying to open volume panel and when moving a window that is directly below the wingpanel

The wingpanel is unresponsive to clicks on the Power, Notification, Battery(this shouldn't appear since Im on a desktop), Network, and volume panels. I dont know what triggered this unresponsiveness.
