I am not able to reproduce this error in hardy. Which version are you using?

Chuck Short: which version of what? The versions of Ubuntu and sysstat are shown in the report.

I upgraded to 7.10 where sysstat has completed installing.

I believe the reporter has confirmed that this issue has been resolved. If not, please set the status back to New.
