Bug Description

I appreciate the enhanced settings for the touchpad, but the touchpad behaves "wrong" when changing the primary key to "right" in the general mouse settings. The touchpad click changes from "left" with one finger to, "right" with two finger tips for a normal "click" by tipping onto the touchpad (I don't mean the touchpad buttons).

This might be expected technically, as the option is defined as a general/global one, but it is bad. This is a very annoying behavior for left handers or people with limited motion.

There should be a separation of concerns for the mouse/touchpad button click from the touchpad finger tips. The mouse click behavior should not be mapped to the touchpad. I think it should be changed into two options:

1. One mouse/touchpad click option, which can be a general/global one

and another for the touchpad finger tips

2. A local option for a change from one finger tip to two finger tips for a normal click.

I can imagine, that this option might not be that trivial, as the general option should not be mapped to finger tips, but it should be mapped to a touchpad click.

I hope you have time to enhance this, I look forward to hear from you.

Sebastian
