Bug Description

Binary package hint: hubackup

I backed to using home user back up to a usb device before instaling Gusty 7.10. I re-downloaded hubackup and the restore option doesn't even come up on the desktop to use. It is in the system/administration menue though.

Thank you for taking the time to report the bug! I'm aware of this and am currently exploring ways to integrate a better back end for the use of hubackup called rdiff-backup, which will greatly reduce space overhead when creating backups and will allow very slick restore operation. In the mean while , you can use DAR (the Disk ARchive) to restore your backup. I know this is suboptimal, but at the moment that is the way to restore files, since hubackup uses dar underneath to create its backup archives. Do a man dar to see how to use it, or if you want one on one help, feel free to contact me directly :)

Many thanks again
