Mouse pointer disappears after screen lock

Bug Description

In Loki my mouse cursor disappears when I lock the screen and unlock it afterwards. It re-appears if I switch to tty1 and then back to the GUI (ctrl+alt+F1 and ctrl+alt+F7 respectively). I can see where the pointer is by the hover effects of buttons and links in the web browser.
The system is updated and TLP is installed and enabled.

I also have the same issue!.. I am running it on ma HP Pavilion G6 2297se.
