Banshee cannot rearrange playlist items

Hello, i have noticed that when i createa playlist, the songs in that playlist retain their order forever, i mean it's impossible to drag a song after the other to rearrange the order of the songs in the playlist.

Thanks for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make Ubuntu better. We appreciate the difficulties you are facing, but this appears to be a "regular" (non-security) bug. I have unmarked it as a security issue since this bug does not show evidence of allowing attackers to cross privilege boundaries nor directly cause loss of data/privacy. Please feel free to report any other bugs you may find.

There is a patch upstream, but it has not been committed yet.

Problem still exists in gutsy with banshee 0.13.1. Possible fix in 0.13.2 but haven't built it yet.

Work around: create a new playlist, drag your tracks from the old list in the order you want.

Yes, 0.13.2 was where I noticed it being fixed. It's available in Hardy.

This bug has resurfaced in Karmic. It's currently possible to reorder items in the play queue, but not in playlists.

Oops. Never mind. It seems I've encountered a different bug regarding the sorting of playlists.

I am having this same problem.

Package version is: 2.9.0+really2.6.2-2ubuntu2.1
Unity desktop
Ubuntu version 14.04 LTS (Trusty)
