Bug Description
On Wily I installed smplayer, which installed mplayer2.
Now after upgrade to Xenial, old mplayer2 is still installed and invoked from smplayer at least when playing DVDs:
MPlayer2 2.0-728-
Since Xenial, if I understand correct, mplayer2 is no more supported and should be replaced by mpv:
