Bug Description
Monaco is a monospaced font:

https:/
And I'm using its TTF version. However for some reason, I can't select it as a Fixed-width Font Family, under the "Fonts" tab on "Preferences".
For some weird reason it can be selected as a Proportional Font Family, being that it's a monospace fixed width one.
Firefox doesn't have problems selecting Monaco as its fixed width monospace font...
Notice the font is available:
% fc-list | 'grep' -i monaco
/usr/share/

Midori calls "pango_ font_family_ is_monospace" to determine whether a font is monospace. There are fonts for which this function seems to return the wrong value.
As a workaround, you can edit the configuration file directly, in "${XDG_ CONFIG_ HOME:-~ /.config} /midori/ config" . Change the "monospace- font-family= Whatever" line to "monospace- font-family= Monaco" .
