Downloading of podcast is not registered until restart of app

Bug Description
I have been using podbird as my podcast manager since I got my Meizu MX4 Ubuntu Touch phone a year ago. One bug that has been annoying me since the beginning is that if I download a podcast the paperclip stating that the podcast has been downloaded only appears after I restart the app. I often have rather flaky wifi/4g where I am so I download my podcasts. Hence, it is a bit irritating that the app then streams the episode, instead of using the downloaded file. But again relaunching the app fixes that though. Still a fix would be nice :). This happens both on dev version of the app and on the normal version. But I noticed that if I have downloaded podcast, where the paperclip is shown then if I download a different podcast then the paperclip icon appears immediately after download is completed.

Same experience for me using WiFi only. The download only begins after restarting Podbird.
