pidgin no filetransfer via jabber

Hi,

as in gaim the bug is still in pidgin.

sender and reciever get as message: about filetransfer but no filetransfer starts.

I have the problem of Jabber filetransfer not working

Both Machines are using Intrepid and therefore pidgin 2.5.2

Thanks for the update. This is an upstream issue and needs to be reported to the developers. Since you are experiencing the issue, could you report it on http://developer.pidgin.im/simpleticket ?

Thanks for the report, it has been some time without any response or feedback in this bug report and we are wondering if this is still an issue for you with the latest release of Ubuntu the Natty Narwhal, May you please test with that version and comment back if you're still having or not the issue? There have been many changes in Ubuntu since that time you reported the bug and your problem may have been fixed with some of the updates. It would help us a lot if you could test it on a currently supported Ubuntu version. When you test it and it is still an issue, kindly upload the updated logs by running apport-collect <bug #> and any other logs that are relevant for this particular issue.
