Bug Description
-------
Overview Description:
-------
1. Clicking "Quit" in mintMenu has no effect.
2. Starting a terminal from mintMenu takes about 10 seconds.
3. Some applications won't start at all.
4. In a terminal, typing "xterm" reports the following error message: "While connecting to session manager: Could not open network socket."
-------
Steps to Reproduce:
-------
It's quite hard to reproduce this as it involves a race-condition...
1) Click the Quit button in mintMenu and logout before the background fading animation is complete...
2) Log back in.
-------
Actual Results:
-------
- Quit button doesn't do anything.
- Xterm shows error message and terminal is slow to open.
-------
Expected Results:
-------
- Xterm should not show any error message.
- Terminal should be fast to open
- Quit button should show a dialog box.
-------
Reproducibility:
-------
Sometimes (race-condition involved).
