Thank you for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make Ubuntu better. The error message indicates that OpenJDK 8 has not been successfully installed on a previous attempt and remains 'half-installed'. Unfortunately the logs don't indicate why that happened.

You should try to reinstall OpenJDK 8. Either use your preferred software/package manager or open a terminal and run:

$ sudo apt-get install --reinstall openjdk-8-jre-headless
