Bug Description

Since installing this package even though it fixed my other problems, I have found that the touch sensitivity area is much smaller than previously on the outside of my touchpad if I drag my finger the cursor does not move, same with this person: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu-gnome/+bug/1586657/comments/8

I am running Ubuntu GNOME 16.04 with GNOME 3.20.

Nikita,

Are you still experiencing this bug? The upstream bug report shows it is now fixed (somewhere): https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=96315

I am actually now on Arch Linux, but I also still experience the issue here as well. It's not a distro specific problem so obviously it doesn't matter.

OK, can you please check if your systemd install has the fix?

https://github.com/systemd/systemd/pull/5031

If it does and you still experience the issue then we shouldn't be linking to freedesktop bug 96315 still.

All that I know is that with the latest version (that was released this year) on my now Arch Linux system I still have this issue. So I guess the fix didn't fix this?

The fix applied is only for Lenovo B590. So...

1. Are you still using that machine or a different one?
2. If you 'apt-get source systemd' on your machine does it contain the fix?;
