Bug Description
I'm not sure if this bug should be here or at upstream.
As a dependency of acpi-support, toshset, and laptop-mode-tools are installed.
Smartdimmer's package description says, this program is only applicable to nvidia6200 owners.
Toshset is of course only needed for toshiba laptop owners.
Laptop-mode-tools does no good on a desktop.
Xorg installation installs all drivers (video and input). Is there a way to detect video before installation?
As a dependency of ubuntu-minimal, pcmciautils is installed even though no pcmcia hardware exists.
