Bug Description

I use a keyboard model Goldtouch Go! like this (http://lowendmac.com/ed/moore/09cwm/goldtouch/gthandleopen.jpg)

It has been working fine using Ubuntu 14.10 up until 15.10. However when I upgraded to Ubuntu 16.04, some keys stopped working as they should.

Looking at the keyboard layout chart (which indeed doesn't correspond to the layout of the Goldtouch keyboard), the keys incorrectly detected are:
- Left Ctrl is detected as Meta L/Alt L
- Left Alt as Super L
- AltGr as Super R
- Rigth Ctrl as Level3 Shift
- Insert as NumLock
- Top right key (|) as Delete
The eight keys on the left of the keyboard behave as if their secondary function was activated (in yellow here https://i.ytimg.com/vi/Sfdps5Lojhw/maxresdefault.jpg), e.g.:
- Print screen as Eject
- Delete as lower volume
- Windows key as control

The following behave correctly: arrows, home, end, page up/down, delete, return, Shift L and R, Caps Lock, Left Tab, F1-12

The same keyboard plugged in another laptop with Ubuntu 16.04 behaves the same way (incorrectly).

I could try making a manual edit of the keyboard map, however, this worked fine in Ubuntu 15.10 so it shouldn't be too hard to fix. Help is much appreciated!

I don't know which package(s) is involved.

Please cancel the bug. It turns out that I had switched from PC to Mac in the keyboard itself. Switched it back and fixed (pressing simultaneously Ctrl/Win + Shift L + Ctrl/option + up arrow). Apologies!

Changed in console-setup (Ubuntu):
