evince freezes when using firefox, mozplugger

Binary package hint: evince

when using evince with mozplugger in firefox it will not display the pdf file. it freezes up. removing mozplugger it will download the file and open it in an evince window just fine.

I use epiphany and mozplugger and experienced the same problem. When I open any (used http://www.umuc.edu/library/database/acrobat/test.pdf for testing) PDF file, Evince just hangs. The Evince toolbar works at first, but the content is not loaded.

Resizing the browser window usually unfreezes it.

I have the same behavior, including the resizing trick.
I am running up-to-date ubuntu gutsy on 64 bit architecture.
