New to Ubuntu and all things Linux. Just learned today that sudo is typed as a command line using the Terminal Program in Accessories. And I thought terminal was just for connecting to other servers....

Anyway, I think the problem above maybe the result of not expanding the Update Options and just selecting the one suggested above:

Eclipse 3.2.2 > Eclipse Project SDK

It is buried a few levels down. Click on the small triangle in front of each option to expand them. If you just select the top level option, then you get all the sub options resulting in the above error messages.

On my system the error message was

"The topic that you have requested is not available. The link may be wrong, or you may not have the corresponding product feature installed. This online help only includes documentation for features that are installed."

This seems to be a fairly generic error message as well as the one above.

ps Installing just the option above worked for me as well.

Yes. Can confirm (intrepid).
There also isn't a package like "eclipse-doc".

I also hit this error (and I came to this site that way :P )

I followed Norman S' idea: I just deselected the 3.2.1 patch (it's not the latest anyway) and it worked fine.

To deselect it, just expand the option "The Eclipse Project Updates", and you'll find it down the list.

I hope I made it clear :)
