[Kubuntu 16.04] Choosing a widget style has no effect

Recently upgraded to Kubuntu 16.04. Choosing a Widget Style under System Settings > Application Style > Widget Style has no effect. Steps to reproduce:

1. Go into System Settings > Application Style > Widget Style.
2. Pick a widget style.
3. Click Apply.

Expected result:

My widget style should change to the selected style.

Actual result:

No change occurs. Please see screenshots.

Here's a screenshot of the system settings screen after I picked Oxygen and hit Apply. Note that the buttons along the bottom have not changed to Oxygen theme.

I was having a ton of issues with the style of KDE when installing kubuntu-desktop on 16.04, including this bug.

Adding "QT_QPA_PLATFORMTHEME=kde" to my .profile solved a lot of them.

This really helped solve a lot of problems I've been having with style and icons since Kubuntu 15.04, thank you! I think the bug should be kept open, it's very disappointing to have to make these kinds of workarounds.
